Black Hat Pixels wasn’t born from a trend. It was born from a line: the moment you realize survival is not a destination — and that the only way out is discipline, truth, and structure.

I came from Philadelphia, from homelessness, from the kind of pressure that forces decisions you can’t take back. Recovery brought me to California. Faith gave me foundation. Fatherhood gave me mission. And once those three locked in, “average” stopped being possible.

That’s what this brand is: a refusal to drift — and a commitment to build something that lasts.

Middle — Faith, Recovery, and Responsibility

Recovery works — but only if you work it with honesty. Faith isn’t decoration — it’s the difference between getting rebuilt and staying broken. I found Jesus Christ, and that changed everything: my choices, my relationships, my standards, and the way I see time.

The point wasn’t “a new life” for me. The point was stewardship: becoming a man my daughter can trust, and building a future she can inherit.

Black Hat Pixels exists because I was given another chance — and I refuse to waste it.

Why Protection Became Personal

When you’ve rebuilt your life from the ground up, you stop respecting shortcuts. That’s why we don’t chase “cute case” status. We build protection-first armor that’s meant to live through friction, drops, desk-slides, pocket life, real movement — not staged product shots.

The design has to mean something. The structure has to hold up. The claim has to be backed by real engineering and real proof.

Ending — Legacy for Makenzie

Everything I build is anchored to one name: Makenzie. This brand is more than a company — it’s a legacy system. A foundation. A future.

One day she inherits more than products and pages — she inherits proof that your past does not get to decide your ceiling, and that discipline can turn pain into purpose.
