Welcome to Our Artist Community

The Black Hat Pixels Artist Program is built for the creators behind the culture—digital artists, illustrators, photographers, and designers who want their work living on real gear instead of just timelines and feeds.

Monetize Your Art, Keep Your Ownership

You stay in control of your original files and rights. We license your artwork onto select products, manufacture with premium partners, and handle logistics end-to-end while you collect royalties.

A Program Built on Transparency

No mystery math, no buried terms. Clear royalty ranges, clear payout timing, and real communication about what’s working so you actually understand how your designs are performing.

Program Benefits

If you’re going to attach your name and style to a brand, it should feel like a partnership—not a content farm.

Competitive Royalties

Earn roughly $0.15–$2.50 per unit depending on product type and performance. High-intent products and limited drops can climb even higher. The more your art moves, the more you earn.

Premium Product Catalog

Your work lives on high-quality phone cases, lifestyle accessories, apparel, and digital products—not flimsy, throwaway merch. We only put art on gear we’re proud to stand behind.

Marketing & Support

We handle product pages, campaigns, emails, and customer support. You focus on creating—our job is to make sure your designs are seen, clicked, and ordered.

Creative Freedom

You maintain ownership of your original artwork while licensing it for our products. Use your designs in your own portfolio, shows, or other projects—we’re not here to lock your creativity down.

Monthly Payouts

Royalties are paid out monthly via PayPal or other agreed methods. You’ll see how your designs are performing so you always know where your earnings are coming from.

Community & Collaboration

Access to a growing creator community, collaboration opportunities, and occasional design challenges with bonus rewards when your work sparks the most noise.

What We’re Looking For

We care about originality, execution, and alignment with the Black Hat Pixels universe—bold, street-smart, and engineered for the grind.

  • Original, high-resolution artwork (300 DPI for print designs wherever possible).
  • Designs that feel current, culture-aware, and aligned with our street-tech aesthetic.
  • Professional presentation, clean exports, and attention to detail on edges, spacing, and contrast.
  • Ability to provide print-ready files (PNG, SVG, AI, PSD) when needed.
  • Basic understanding of print constraints, color profiles, and safe zones.
  • Consistency in creating fresh, engaging work—not just one strong piece.
  • Professional communication, responsiveness, and reliability when drops are in motion.

Application Process

Simple, transparent, and respectful of your time. We treat every portfolio as a serious collaboration opportunity.

1
Submit Your Portfolio

Send 5–10 of your best pieces that represent your style, range, and technical skill. Include links to your site, social, or drive folders with clean previews.

2
Review & Feedback

Our team reviews your work, checks fit with current and future collections, and follows up with either a “not yet” or a “let’s build” plus next steps.

3
Onboarding & Guidelines

Approved artists receive brand guidelines, technical specs, and a simple breakdown of royalties, timelines, and expectations so nothing is vague.

4
Create, Launch, Earn

You start submitting designs, we build products and launch. Your work goes live on site, and royalties start stacking from your first sale.

Royalty Structure

Different products, different price points, different royalty bands—always explained upfront before we launch anything with your name on it.

Phone Cases

Roughly $0.50–$2.50 per unit depending on device family, case type, and whether the design is exclusive or part of a larger collection.

Lifestyle & Apparel

Typically $1–$3 per unit on lifestyle items and apparel, with higher-end pieces and limited runs earning on the upper end of the range.

Digital & Limited Drops

Digital products often earn around $0.25–$1 per unit. Limited edition drops and special collaborations can climb up to $5 per unit when structured as exclusives.

Royalty ranges are based on base cost, design complexity, collection strategy, and any exclusivity terms we mutually agree to before launch.
